Contextual Studies - Card Games 3 Questions

Can you think of a video game you could emulate in cards, how would you go about it?
Like I mentioned in my previous post, you could go about it in a top trumps kinda style if you wanted to since it can be applied to what I imagine would be any game that has enough different characters, enemies, objects, environments etc. this would be the easiest way of creating a card game version of an already exisiting game. Another method would be to make a card game like Magic the gathering or Yugioh which involves much more like spells, traps, mana, land, equipment etc where the main stats for the characters and creatures would be attack and health.

If you wanted to make a narrative or expressive game, how could you use elements of card games to tell the story?
One way that comes to mind could be a card game that comes with good and bad choices that you can use depending on the current situation of the game, one side of the card being good and one side being bad. For example you have a good card, that one says give a player +10 health, on the other side it could be selected player loses 10 health so each card has a positive or negative effect depending on how its used. As for a narrative all these decisions can add up towards the end where the loser is whoever has used most bad cards or something to teach morality of some form.

We've seen card games meet a lot of Callois' criteria for games - Agon, Alea and even Mimesis - but what would an Ilinx card game look like?
In a purely physical state, different cards can come with different textures represent certain feelings or emotions that may effect the player or cause them some discomfort (by all means not harming them). Or they could be unreadable/blurry but using a specific eyepiece it actually reveals whats on the card, for example you used to get cards with 'secret' messages on with action man toys that you wouldn't read without the eye piece. This was achieved by having blue and red spotted card and the red eyepiece made the red pattern invisible revealing just the blue which would be the writing.
