Bamboo Rush Changes - Indie Dev

Here are the changes I will be making to my game prototype from feedback I have recieved:

- The 'Brown Leaf' will now be replaced with a bomb instead, the -500 points effect stays as it is

- I plan to add a 'Double Jump Powerup' if I can figure out the blueprints, I dont like the idea of changing my character to always have double jump as the level has been made for single jump and I believe double jumping will make the game way too easy. If I had much more time I could have remade a more suitable level for double jumping (like bigger jump spaces and more intricate platform placement) but due to lack of time I wont be able to do this.

- The signs in the background at the start are supposed to show dangers for the player were too hard to read, instead of going for an etched look for the 'Danger' its going to be painted red instead to  make it easier to read.

- The Life pickup was just a simple golden cube to save me time so I could move onto other aspects of the game. Due to confusionm of what the cube was and people said it was too similar of a colour to other negative things in the game I will draw a sprite for it so theres no confusion in the prototype.

- Death Screen, despite being told I dont need to include this in my mid unit review because its just a prototype, I plan to incorporate it anyway if I have the time, when you run out of lives the game just ends where as I want players to see their score first because they restart.

- Menu system, this has been giving me multiple problems and no matter how many tutorials I've followed the result is the same, just a plain black screen. This is a priority I want to add into my prototype as the menu system is the entrance to a game. Navigating through the menu system and seeing the characters and artwork can give the player a feel for the game even before theyve started playing.
