Like I mentioned in a previous post, due to confusion of the task and being unsure about what to do I did miss a lot of the first week for the development weeks. However I decided that I will be focusing on the anatomy of Zombies for my first piece and Anatomy of Geisha Girls for my second as im a big fan of zombies and wanted to get better at drawing them and ive always struggled with realism and anatomy so drawing geisha girls will help me achieve this. Im also a big fan of japanese culture.
Week 1/2: Has been really interesting for me being the first project where we are just drawing/painting and im really enjoying it. So far I have completed 2 value studies (out of 4) and done 2 pages of sketches on poses (out of 2), my first final piece is very close to being finished. That leaves me with 2 more value studies which are roughly half done and another final piece which I haven't started as of yet. The value studies have been a big help for me as im new to painting on photoshop, just focusing on the values gave me less to think about in terms of painting giving me a good start on what to do as I only need to think about the light information and not have to worry about colour.
